The ARU Member Protection Policy, with the addition of relevant QRU policies and specific GPS RUGBY policies, and together with the GPS Rugby Club Inc. Constitution, has been adopted by the Board of GPS Rugby Club Inc. (GPS RUGBY) for the purpose of providing a fair and equitable environment that promotes integrity amongst all volunteers, staff, players, coaches, managers,members, and other participants, and in effect, forms the GPS RUGBY Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct should be supplemented with a high degree of common sense, with the best interests of GPS RUGBY members,as well of those of the game of Rugby in mind.
GPS RUGBY is committed to providing an environment in which all individuals are treated with respect. Further, GPS RUGBY supports equal opportunity and prohibits discriminatory practices.
Members of GPS RUGBY and participants in GPS RUGBY’s programs and activities are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner consistent with the values of GPS RUGBY, ensuring that the laws and the spirit of Rugby are adhered to. Conduct that violates these values may be subject to sanctions pursuant to GPS RUGBY’s Code of Conduct and specific or relevant Policies.
Members must comply at all times with the Constitution, policies, rules and regulations of GPS RUGBY, as adopted and amended from time to time, including complying with any contracts or agreements executed with GPS RUGBY;
Breaches of Code of Conduct
Alleged breaches of the Code of Conduct should be reported, in writing, to the Member Protection Officer of GPS RUGBY, for a decision regarding the possible referral to the GPS RUGBY Judicial Officer. This includes the determination as to whether a report/complaint is of a baseless or vexatious nature, which may result in action being taken against the complainant.

Should the subject of a report/complaint be the Member Protection Officer, the matter will be redirected to the highest available member of the GPS RUGBY executive (President/Secretary/Treasurer).
